We MaMa Mias are always honored to perform live music at all special events throughout the year at the Independence Italian Cultural Museum like the first ever Cucuzza Day at the Museum 2019.

We MaMa Mias are performing to a crowd of over 200 guests and volunteers at Independence Italian Cultural Museum’s most recent event the 2019 2nd Annual A Night in Little Italy Sotto le Stelle/Under the Stars elegant fundraiser gala that benefits our lovely and historic Italian museum which is only one of two in Louisiana and one of only a few in the entire United States of America.

About Us

We MaMa Mias are all former church organists friends who formed to preserve the traditional Sicilian and Italian music, culture, and beautiful Sicilian Language of our Sicilian immigrant ancestors.

We MaMas are the in-house musicians for the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel in Amite and the Independence Italian Cultural Museum in Independence, Louisiana where we provide a joyous and festive mood to any event via our music performed on Sicilian and Italian instruments.
